1. Agreement

By downloading or using Pebla you agree to these Terms and our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Pebla.

2. What Pebla is

Pebla is made by Pebla Ltd. It helps you start payments through mobile money providers, banks and other licensed payment service providers (“Providers”), split bills, buy airtime, bundles and utilities, and join loyalty programs. Pebla is not a bank and does not hold your funds. Your account with each Provider is governed by that Provider’s own terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have a guardian’s consent where the law allows) and hold a valid Rwandan mobile number.

4. Your account & security

• Keep your phone, SIM and PIN secure. Never share your PIN or a one-time code.
• You’re responsible for payments made from your device unless they result from our error.
• Tell us and your Provider immediately if your phone is lost or you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Payments, splits & bills

Always check the recipient, amount and fees in your network’s prompt before entering your PIN. Once a Provider has processed a payment, reversals are subject to that Provider’s procedures.

For splits, Pebla helps you request money from other participants; we don’t guarantee that they will pay. Bill and token purchases are fulfilled by the relevant utility or service provider. Loyalty points and rewards are offered by each partner under their own program rules.

6. Fees

Provider fees apply to transactions. We’ll give notice in the app before introducing any Pebla fee.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use Pebla for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, to harass others with split reminders, or to interfere with the app’s security. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Liability

We work hard to keep Pebla available and accurate, but networks and Providers can be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Pebla is not liable for losses caused by Provider outages, network failures or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; we’ll notify you of material changes in the app. You can stop using Pebla and delete your account at any time.
